central nervous system (CNS)
The Central Nervous System consists of:
- Brain
- Spinal Cord
The Central Nervous System (CNS) is considered the Integration and command center of the human body.
Let's take a look at the simplest nerve pathway, the Reflex Arc. The sensory neuron by pass directly to the spinal cord without the delay of routing signals through the brain, although the brain will receive sensory input while the reflex action occurs.
