INTRODUCTION
Biotechnology is the use of living organisms, or substances from living organisms, to develop an agricultural, medicinal, or environmental product or process, that would otherwise not be found in a single organism. The term biotechnology was coined by Karoly Ereky, a Hungarian engineer, in 1919.
